The Service Industries Sector offers a wide range of courses aimed at students who want to work on a local or global basis in this growing sector. We offer courses in Care, Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy, Complementary Therapies, Catering and Hospitality, Sport and Coaching and Uniformed Services. Our aim is to prepare students for the world of work.

We offer programmes in many areas of Technology including Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Welding and Motor Vehicle, Construction, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacture and Maintenance and Nautical courses. Many of our programmes are supported by industry leading companies and often students are offered employment with companies they meet during their time at the College.

Banff and Buchan College is a Further Education College based in Fraserburgh. We also operate a number of local learning centres in Peterhead, Ellon, Macduff and Huntly.

We offer a range of courses including part-time, evening, day and block release, open and flexible learning (including on-line learning) and of course full-time.

Our mission is to provide high quality lifelong learning opportunities relevant to the needs of students, employers and communities.

Our College 2012 refurbished main campus in Fraserburgh was officially opened by Rt Hon Alex Salmond, First Minister on Friday 2nd March 2012. A time capsule was buried inside the atrium in commemoration of this significant step in the history of the College.
