Careers Advice
You know your way round the college and your local area, but how do you find your way around the world of work?
There are so many choices – every prospectus is crammed with courses; every newspaper advertises pages of jobs; there are numerous websites devoted to job hunting – so where do you start?
That’s where Careers Scotland comes in. We can help you with your career planning – whether you’re at the stage of looking for ideas, finding out more about specific jobs, or wanting help to take your plans forward. You may simply want to check out the resources in your college careers library and on useful websites; you may want help with applying for jobs or college/university; or you may need to discuss your plans more fully with a careers adviser. Whatever stage you are at, Careers Scotland can help.
