Living Costs
Estimated minimum cost of living is £570 per month including shared accommodation, travel costs from Aberdeen to the College and back, food and some other necessary costs. A shared flat with other students generally costs around £250 per month per person. These figures provide an approximate guide to assist you with your financial planning. Prices may alter at any time and will vary between individual students.
Tuition Fees for EU/EEA Students
Tuition fees for 2011/12 for a one year HN course are approx. £1,300 and for below HN approx. £1040. If you are a citizen of an EU/EEA country, your tuition fees will be paid for in line with the conditions below. However if you leave the College you will have to repay the full fee or a pro-rata fee depending on circumstances.*
All full time students undertaking HNC/D courses who have been ordinarily resident in the EEA for the past 3 years prior to their course start, but have not been ordinarily resident in the UK are eligible to apply to the Student Awards Agency for Scotland (SAAS) for payment of their tuition fees. However, students who withdraw from their course prior to 1st December will be required to pay the full fee themselves.*
