Disabled Students

We welcome applications from students with learning difficulties and/or physical disabilities. The College is committed to ensure that, as far as possible, no person is prevented from enrolling and studying at Banff & Buchan College because of their learning difficulty or disability.

The Disability Equality Duty for the public sector came into effect on the 4th December 2006. A fundamental part of the new duty is that public authorities are required, to produce and publish a disability equality scheme and action plan.

The College as part of the Disability Equality duty has published its Annual Disability Equality Report. 

This requirement to consult not only involves disabled people working at the Council but also our stakeholders. The College welcomes input and opinions from anyone who has a disability and who would like to help us inform our disability duty action plan for 2007.
