bank
On arrival to the UK, you should open a bank account in order to pay rent, bills and deposit any income or wages. You can get advice from any bank as to which account would be suitable for you. You will need to prove who you are and where you live to obtain a UK bank account.
For your identity verification, generally your passport or an ID card are accepted.
For proof of a UK address, usually a rent agreement or a utility bill are needed. However, if you do not have these yet, a letter from the College might be accepted.
You will have a chance to open a bank account during the International Welcome Course at the College.
