New Safety Courses at Banff and Buchan College

Banff and Buchan College and E-Learning Safety Training Ltd (ELST) have entered into a partnership to provide two IOSH approved e-learning safety modules.

IOSH – Health & Safety for Industry and IOSH – Office Safety will equip employees with Health & Safety knowledge that will help employers to reduce the risk of accidents and incidents in the workplace.

The IOSH – Health & Safety for Industry Course provides Health and Safety training for any type of industry and has 9 modules of 40 minutes per module, and the IOSH – Office Safety Course covers Health and Safety requirements specifically for an office working environment. This course has 16 modules of 15 minutes per module.

The Health and Safety for Industry course is available at a delegate price of £170 and the Office Safety course costs £108. Both courses are ILA eligible meaning that those on an income of £22,000 a year or less, including the unemployed and full-time students can apply for funding of up to £200 toward the cost of their course.

Sector Manager, Fiona Birse, who signed the partnership agreement said “This partnership is an excellent opportunity for our organisations to provide  industry standard Health and Safety training which will enable employees to operate safely in their working environment. The funding from ILA helps to make the training more accessible for all.”
